What does a 3D configurator cost?
The price depends on product complexity, number of variants, desired features and integrations. The range spans from compact configurators in the low five-figure range to deeply integrated systems. After the free initial consultation, you'll receive a solid estimate for your project.
How long does development take?
That depends on scope, the number of variants and the desired features. Compact configurators are often ready to use within a few weeks. After a needs analysis, we define a realistic timeframe.
Do we already need our own 3D models?
No, not necessarily. We usually create the 3D models for your product variants based on CAD data and apply realistic material properties. If no 3D data is available, we can also create the models from technical drawings, product data or photos. 3D modeling is an integral part of our development process, so you do not need to provide finished 3D models. What about AI-generated 3D models? We use AI tools wherever they can meaningfully speed up the process. For a configurator, however, the models must reproduce your product exactly, with precise geometry, clearly structured variants and physically accurate materials. Automatically generated models cannot yet deliver this reliably. Product-accurate modeling therefore remains a skilled craft, and it is one we master.
Does the configurator work with our online shop?
Yes. Integration into existing shop systems, websites or sales platforms is usually straightforward. The same applies to interfaces with ERP, PIM and CRM systems.
Does the configurator also run on smartphones and tablets?
Yes. VisCircle 3D configurators run directly in the browser, with no app installation, and deliver smooth, high-quality 3D visuals on smartphones and tablets. We decide together whether and how the user interface should be adapted for mobile devices based on your use case. Responsive implementation is generally an integral part of configurators for end customers, while it may deliberately be omitted for purely internal or sales applications.
